Color Positive Foundation Presents the Grand Celebration of Pride, Power, and Purpose at the Fashion Pageant 2025
Mumbai, India — On Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Mumbai will witness a powerful fusion of fashion, activism, and celebration at the Color Positive Fashion Pageant 2025, hosted by the Color Positive Foundation . This landmark event is not just about crowns and couture—it is a platform that amplifies LGBTQIA+ voices, honors change-makers, and boldly redefines inclusion.
This year’s show will see the crowning of 7 remarkable title winners, 12 special awardees, and the prestigious Karmaveer Chakra Awards presented to 25 individuals who have ignited transformation in their communities.
Adding star power and grace to the evening, Ruby Bhatia, celebrated VJ and cultural icon, will grace the occasion as the Guest of Honor. Among the Karmaveer honorees is the courageous and inspiring Trinetra Haldar Gummaraju , receiving her award for fearless advocacy and medical activism.
The Karmaveer Chakra Awards are presented in partnership with the iCONGO-Rex Karmaveer Global Fellowship, and this year’s pageant will proudly welcome Rex Karmaveer Award founders and co-directors, Jerry Almeida and Eitu Chopra , as special dignitaries. Their presence reaffirms the synergy between civic action and creative expression.
The legacy continues from the 2024 edition, where notable changemakers Sridhara Rangayan and BalaChandran Ramiah were honored with Karmaveer Chakra Awards for their outstanding contributions to queer cinema and community leadership, respectively.
The evening will also include a powerful Western Wear finale performed with deep emotion and political consciousness. The walk will be preceded by a note: “This portrayal is not meant to degrade, but to depict injustice faced by all of humanity.”
And in the end, a legacy walk of all the previous winners of the last 6 years who will walk the ramp.
Two electrifying performances will elevate the show:
Harpreet Singh Chhachhia, known for redefining gender norms through high-energy dance, And Pranit Hatte aka Ganga , whose evocative drag artistry weaves storytelling, tradition, and empowerment.
Fashion Director Sagar Kadrekar with the show producer & director, Savio Mascarenhas will be hosting the third time together while it will be its 7th edition that will see bring out the best of the community on stage.
